How To Make Amazing Naturally Flavored Water

Finally – a way to drink something that has tons of flavor as well as super health qualities! Although I say “finally” – aficionados of the natural way will not be surprised that these “ancient recipes” beat all comers. Because as they say, “There’s nothing new under the sun”! We think this is infinitely better than some trademarked artificial-additive drink in a plastic bottle. The link to the full recipe is at the foot of the article, after our commentary (as usual).

These easy-to-make natural waters are made with just water, fruit (organic please!), ice and herbs. They are full of nutrition, healthful qualities, delicious flavor and look fantastic as you can see! Imagine the reaction you are going to get from your guests! These drinks could also be amazingly perfect if you are detoxing or simply if you are seeking something that is refreshing and delicious without containing any artificial sugars or other chemical additives.

Another great benefit of this refreshing “DIY” fruit water, in addition to the amazing nutritional content: You are completely eliminating the use of evil plastic bottles.

Plastic bottles are reported to leach toxic chemicals such as BPA into their contents. Also, plastic garbage is spreading far and wide across the world… slowly breaking down and entering the food chain. [1] This is horrendous and needs to stop! I think it’s time to start thinking seriously about banning plastic and using natural alternatives.

If you’re truly committed to caring about life and future generations, you will be doing all that you can to limit your use of single-use plastic bottles. Use (and re-use!) high quality food-grade glass containers. They don’t leach anything into your food, don’t contribute to the hideous mountain of discarded plastic.. .and they look cool as well. Speaking of which, did you know that you can get Ball Mason Jars on Amazon?

Here, then, is the link to the Five Amazing Recipes For Healthy Naturally Flavored Water

Note – it’s mentioned in the recipes at the link but we think it expedient to say it again – be sure to wash fruit thoroughly, especially if you are planning on leaving the drinks overnight before drinking them. You don’t want bad bacteria or even pesticides messing up your drinks.

Lost Ways Of Survival Video

An amazing discovery in an abandoned house in Austin, Texas: A lost book of amazing survival knowledge, believed to have been long vanished to history, has been found in a dusty drawer in the house which belonged to a guy named Claude Davis.

Remember... back in those days, there was no electricity... no refrigerators... no law enforcement... and certainly no grocery store or supermarkets... Some of these exceptional skills are hundreds of years of old and they were learned the hard way by the early pioneers.

>> Click here to find out about them now

We've lost to history so much survival knowledge that we've become clueless compared to what our great grandfathers did or built on a daily basis to sustain their families.

Neighbors said that for the last couple of years Claude has tried to unearth and learn the forgotten ways of our great-grandparents and claimed to have found a secret of gargantuan proportions. A secret that he is about to reveal together with 3 old teachings that will change everything you think you know about preparedness:

Didn’t know they made the larger Ball jars like this. Looked into it, found out I could get them @ Walmart and will order them.
This will be a wonderful healthy beverage for this summer. And I pride myself on my herb garden which I embellish every year. Thanks so much for this idea & recipe…

For those who wish to sweeten it a bit, here’s an idea. Sevia (Truvia) is a plant based natural sweetener with ZERO calories. 1/8 teaspoon of powdered Sevia equals 1 teaspoon of sugar. FDA has approved the use as an after market sweetener. The use as an additive to commercially prepared foods and drinks is being held up for no explained reason. A clue was revealed during a congressional hearing when a lobbyist for the artificial sweetener industry requested a huge import duty be placed upon the product. Sevia is imported from Hawaii. That idea was quickly rejected by congress, since Hawaii is not a foreign country.

I have two daughters who drink sodas like crazy and so do I. we are realizing we need to start drinking more healthy. These drinks look good since water is good for the body and so is fruits.

You don’t have to use Mason jars. I use the restaurant-sized glass jars from various things I buy. I’ve made flavored water using; mint; lemon balm; slices of cucumber; combos of the all, including the blossoms (looks beautiful in the jar). I stuff the jar. Ummm

  • By FallenAnjel, January 2, 2014 @ 6:11 am

@Rose Adamek: Try your local Hardware store (mom & pop prefferably). They should carry ball jars of most sizes. I work in one and we carry them. 🙂

  • By FallenAnjel, January 2, 2014 @ 6:15 am

I can’t edit my post. I just looked at the Amazon link. $20 for Wide mouth qt ball jars? That’s INSANE! even walmart is $17, yet they’re $14 on the Ace hardware website. Hardware stores are where it’s at. 😉

Truvia is terrible for you. It’s a commercially manufactured product with added artificial sweetners (dextrose I believe) also the same with Stevia in the Raw, Purvia, and several other “look-alike” products. Stevia 100% natural is an awesome plant based sweetners but many people say it has a bitter aftertaste (I’ve been using it for 4 or 5 years and haven’t noticed). The best thing to do is to read the ingredients on the label the brand I use is called Sweetleaf and it’s 100% Ribiana extract and inulin fiber that’s it that’s all that’s listed on the ingredients NO chemicals NO artificial sweeteners.
