An awesome hard-hitting Public Service Advisory posted on YouTube by Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is going viral and is making people reconsider their eating habits. You should share this with your family – it’s a wake up call. It’s a bit scary… but then – it’s meant to be. This is reality – and you can’t gamble with your health.
The video illustrates brilliantly how obesity doesn’t happen overnight and depicts the end result of long term poor food choices. It’s a shocking glimpse into the future of what often happens when someone eats unhealthily over a long period of time.
A few simple tips that can make a dramatic change to your weight. 1) Give up refined sugar 2) Give up alcohol (important one this!) 3) Don’t eat before bedtime. Food that is undigested when you go to bed is more likely to be converted to fat as it is not being used directly for energy. The body burns less energy while asleep, so why does it need fuelling before bed? 4) Take a look at your food. “If it comes from a plant, it’s probably ok. If it’s made in a plant (i.e. factory), it probably isn’t.”
