I have a question, I’m hoping you can help me with…. I have fibromyalgia & arthritis, and know that ginger is really good for inflammation, but it really causes my heartburn/ reflux to flare up… What are some ways to combat that, or is there another herb that works as well for the inflammation minus the “side effects”??!!! Thank you!

I think Joan is correct in sweetening the herb. If it tastes bad, there is less likelyhood that I will take it regularly. All things in moderation is key to a realistic lifestyle.

My husband and I use ginger daily. In tea, as a relief from heartburn, for his arthritis, etc. etc. We also use honey with Ginger for sore throats.
