It’s that time of year where avoiding the bugs becomes an art form…

Here’s a really great article on the subject that I just saw – from “The Nerdy Farm Wife”:

Also – don’t forget to check out our page The Top 10 Most Amazing Herbal / Natural Remedies For Colds And Flu: A Definitive Guide. On that page we go into great detail, providing not only the list of our “top 10”, but also any links to scientific research that supports the traditional use / claims from herbalists.

My own personal fav cold remedy is a combination of reishi, oregano leaf and echinacea tinctures; half a “standard” dropper full of each in a glass of warm water. Tastes bitter but worth it.

The warm water is supposed to aid with absorption and improve the remedy. So they say. I find that it makes the rink much more bearable than when cold. Most times this recipe will make symptoms completely disappear after the 2nd dose, and I find it so effective I typically forget to take it the next day, after which the symptoms start creeping back! (until I take it again). I have to keep taking it 3 or 4 times per day for about 4 days. On numerous occasions I have wiped out colds before they took hold. Winning is a great feeling!

One final tip – a great way to assist in preventing contagion is to wash your hands more often when the bugs are around… 🙂

Yes! But I can not find it it is stored in some stuff. I wnated to check for months. But I can tell you where I found it. I went to Whole Foods (Clarke, they can also contribute), or you can go to Borders online and search for a homeopathic remedy encyclopedia. I have two, but sucks the other and it was fantastic from Whole Foods. Most of the nutrition scientists at Whole Foods to use it so if you are feeding, what she recommends, it will probably ask for this book. It is tall and about 400 pages and covers everything you ab.Wenn can not find them let me know and I’ll see if I can get pictures of him from Borders and identify it that way. I will discharge my shed soon and I know it’s there. Peace y’all
