The warm water is supposed to aid with absorption and improve the remedy. So they say. I find that it makes the rink much more bearable than when cold. Most times this recipe will make symptoms completely disappear after the 2nd dose, and I find it so effective I typically forget to take it the next day, after which the symptoms start creeping back! (until I take it again). I have to keep taking it 3 or 4 times per day for about 4 days. On numerous occasions I have wiped out colds before they took hold. Winning is a great feeling!
One final tip – a great way to assist in preventing contagion is to wash your hands more often when the bugs are around… 🙂
