Since lemons are used for cleaning it seems like a natural choice to use them but I don’t think we are limited to them. I use a natural orange oil based cleaner for most things and will add some of that instead of the lemon.

They’re fine to use, but taste odd. Silicone trays are better for not absorbing food scents, so I might use them for this recipe and still make ice with them later.
