Turmeric

Ginger
Best known for its anti-inflammatory properties, ginger is a powerful herb that should make an excellent ingredient for your tonic.     I made it for the first time last September, it was ready to use in November, the first time I started coming down with a cold, actually if you pay attention to your body, you won’t actually get to the point of it being a cold or the flu, because if you take about an ounce at the first inkling that you might be coming down with something, like if you just feel blah, and achey or tired, take some master tonic and within 30 minutes you feel great. I have a new batch sitting on my counter now, so I will be prepared for the winter blahs!

    I just read the websites recipe and especially the directions given above and I have to disagree with one thing, Use a food processor to grind up all the ingredients and put it in a large mason jar then pour in the Braggs apple cider vinegar, make sure you cover all the veggies with the vinegar, put a lid on the canning jar and if you are using a canning lid and ring put a piece of saran wrap between the rim of the jar and the lid so the vinegar doesn’t react with the metal, then you wait for at least 4 weeks, I usually do 6 weeks, then you strain all the veggies out and keep the liquid, that’s your liquid gold because it will get you through any sickness, if you don’t like the taste, because it is spicy hot, add some RAW honey to it, and it will go down much easier, but I suggest taking about one ounce, about a shot glass full. This is the best stuff for anything that ails you, so make it now so you will have it for flu and cold season!

    How long can you keep the tonic without it getting rancid. Do you keep it refrigerated

    Why not just speay with cold Eze , you can get it over the counter at the pharmacy. I fly weekly surrounded by people who cough and sniflfle yet I don’t get cold/flu just 2 sprays in the morning before I leave.

    I have emphysema and I made you apple cider remedy,and I must say that this is the first time for 4 years that I have not had a cold all winter or summer,it as also helped with my breathing a vast improvement on the last 4 years thank you for this recipe I will keep on taking this for as long as I can many thanks
