It’s a commercially manufactured product with added artificial sweetners (dextrose I believe) also the same with Stevia in the Raw, Purvia, and several other “look-alike” products. Stevia 100% natural is an awesome plant based sweetners but many people say it has a bitter aftertaste (I’ve been using it for 4 or 5 years and haven’t noticed). The best thing to do is to read the ingredients on the label the brand I use is called Sweetleaf and it’s 100% Ribiana extract and inulin fiber that’s it that’s all that’s listed on the ingredients NO chemicals NO artificial sweeteners.

I just looked at the Amazon link. $20 for Wide mouth qt ball jars? That’s INSANE! even walmart is $17, yet they’re $14 on the Ace hardware website. Hardware stores are where it’s at. 😉

They should carry ball jars of most sizes. I work in one and we carry them. 🙂

I use the restaurant-sized glass jars from various things I buy. I’ve made flavored water using; mint; lemon balm; slices of cucumber; combos of the all, including the blossoms (looks beautiful in the jar). I stuff the jar. Ummm

These drinks look good since water is good for the body and so is fruits.

Sevia (Truvia) is a plant based natural sweetener with ZERO calories. 1/8 teaspoon of powdered Sevia equals 1 teaspoon of sugar. FDA has approved the use as an after market sweetener. The use as an additive to commercially prepared foods and drinks is being held up for no explained reason. A clue was revealed during a congressional hearing when a lobbyist for the artificial sweetener industry requested a huge import duty be placed upon the product. Sevia is imported from Hawaii. That idea was quickly rejected by congress, since Hawaii is not a foreign country.

I hope you like it.
