This special beverage we just discovered is made of all-natural ingredients that are known for their health benefits – including cayenne pepper, ginger, lime juice, and parsley. If you want to make it sweeter, you can add melon juice from cantaloupe, honey dew or watermelon. Here is a brief discussion of the herbal benefits of the ingredients:

Cayenne Pepper
Cayenne pepper is a rich source of nutrients like Vitamin C, potassium, magnesium, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, selenium, thiamine, riboflavin, pyridozine and niacin. It contains antioxidants that help fight against free radicals which are thought to heighten one’s stress level and increase risks for cardiovascular disorders, degenerative diseases and cancer.

Parsley
When made into juice, parsley offers enormous health benefits to the blood, kidney and gall bladder. It works effectively in tonifying the blood as well as in strengthening the arterioles and the capillaries. Also thought to be useful to people who have kidney stones or gall stones, parsley also acts as a natural diuretic that aids the body in getting rid of certain fluids.

Lime
Coming from the citrus family, lime is a powerful fruit packed with highly potent antioxidants which are known to be really beneficial to the body. In addition to being considered an excellent aid to weight loss, lime also plays an important role in the treatment of gout, urinary disorders, gums, respiratory disorders, piles, scurvy, and peptic ulcer. Limes are also thought to promote better digestion.

Ginger
Ginger is an amazing herb / spice that proves to bring immense health benefits to the body. It possesses a remarkable blend of natural properties that make it effective in treating, preventing and managing a wide range of health illnesses. It is considered a valuable natural remedy in conditions like cataracts, flu, cough, sciatica, chronic fatigue, heart disease, stroke, angina, fever, dizziness, depression and stomach upset.

Cucumber
This vegetable is known to be useful to the hair and skin. Since it is 95% water, cucumber is effective in helping the body get rid of unwanted toxins. Often used to treat skin irritations and sunburns, cucumber contains anti-inflammatory properties that help in eliminating puffy eyes. Cucumbers are also believed to be beneficial to digestion. Because of its fiber and high water content, cucumbers are effective in eliminating harmful toxins from the digestive system of the body.

This look like the sort of thing that might help me. I am only eating 20% acid foods and 80% alkaline,as I have cancer. It is not easy to adhere to as up to date I have found nothing to to put food on. However I see several receipts here that look good. Today I bought some Millet flour, And Quinoa , and a Couliflour as I have seen for these in here. Can’t find tofu yet.
