6 Natural Ways To Ged Rid Of Fleas On Dogs Image – EverydayRoots.com

If you have dogs, then you’ll know exactly what I mean when I say that fleas are an unfortunate part of the “package deal”.

The standard way to get rid of them involves using pesticides and other chemicals – which as you can imagine, might be harmful to our beloved animals. Flea medicine is generally seen as a ‘necessary evil’.

So for those of you who want to try out a natural approach – we’ve discovered a great post from Everyday Roots which proposes 6 remedies using gentle natural ingredients. This is an awesome page. There is a natural flea collar, drink, flea comb, flea spray, “flea-be-gone” bag and a flea bath!

All the remedies are easy to make and use readily available ingredients.

Safety notes – be careful to read and follow the instructions fully. Be careful to use the correct amounts – and don’t be tempted to use other essential oils on pets unless you have it on good authority that they are safe. And most definitely do NOT assume that because something is safe for humans it is safe for pets!

Here, then, is the link to the full tutorial: http://everydayroots.com/flea-remedies

I also heard sprinkle Borax bleach, it comes as a pwder. sprinkle on and leave two hrs then vacuum up. also sprinkle garlic pwd in food, very light the first few time till they get used to it, then they will start to crave it. the fleas and ticks will fall off the animals! then you wont have any problems.

I have a 1 year old dog that has severe COPD. He is on prednisone every other day, and liquid albuterol twice every day. Do you have any herbs that would work. I am so worried about the steroid.
